We recently launched a brand new website for Print Metal Fabrication! The previous version of this site was launched nearly a decade ago, and very little had changed in the intervening time. The design felt dated, the content no longer reflected the business as it is today, and most importantly, it didn't do justice to the incredible range of work Print Metal Fabrication (formerly Printmet) are capable of producing.
Those who follow Print Metal Fabrication on Facebook or Instagram know they're constantly sharing photos of impressive creations and large-scale projects. But their old website just had a handful of generic service pages with very little detail or visual proof of what they can actually do.
Our goal for this project, then, was to create a modern, image-led website that would properly showcase the PMF team's capabilities and help to bring in more enquiries.
A Modern, Image-Led Design
The new Print Metal Fabrication website features a clean, modern design with a much stronger visual focus. High-quality project photos now take centre stage, giving visitors an immediate sense of the scale, quality and variety of the company's work.
This shift towards a more image-led layout has made a big difference. Instead of merely telling visitors what Print Metal Fabrication can do, the website now shows them (which is far more powerful).
Showcasing What They Do
One of the biggest improvements concerns the structure of the website itself. We expanded the navigation to clearly highlight three key areas:
- 'What we do' – covering services like welding, metal bending and fabrication
- 'What we can make' – specific items such as beams, cages and fencing
- 'Who we work with' – e.g. construction firms, architectural clients
In addition to making the website nice and easy to navigate, this approach allowed us to target a much wider range of search terms. Instead of relying on a few broad service pages, the new website now includes lots of keyword-focused content that touches on everything Print Metal Fabrication can do.
A Better 'Projects' Page
Print Metal Fabrication's Projects page has also had a major overhaul. Website visitors can now browse numerous real-life examples of the company's work, complete with photos and details of the work carried out.
This will help to reassure potential customers that PMF have the experience and capability to handle jobs of all shapes and sizes, from one-off bespoke pieces to big commercial projects.
Built to Generate Enquiries
Of course, good looks only go so far. The new Print Metal Fabrication website has also been designed to make it as easy as possible for visitors to get in touch.
A simple, user-friendly enquiry form allows customers to request a quote quickly and easily, helping to turn website visitors into genuine leads.
Behind the scenes, we also reviewed and improved the site's content and structure to give Print Metal Fabrication a stronger foundation for search engine visibility going forward.
