We have just launched the all-new instrument comparison website Instrumania.
Originally the website focused on the larger music instrument retailers but now it has been re-developed and re-launched to fit in with both small and large musical instrument retailers. The focus of the website is to provide it's users with great deals and compare the prices of musical instruments from a wide range of UK based retailers.

We have recently finished a redesign for the TimberTech website. We have worked with TimberTech for a number of years and they recently asked us to design a totally new look for their composite decking website, which we of course were happy to do.
When we completed the design concepts for the new website TimberTech were absolutely delighted with our proposed layout/design. Based on these new concepts we developed a new, more modern, more responsive website, which also contains some clever tracking functionality and a very good level of search engine optimisation.

We have recently launched a new website for the leading training company Olive Strachan. Olive Strachan are a global training company with headquarters in Manchester; they have a wealth of experience in management training, leadership training, customer services training and other similar business centric disciplines.

Earlier this month we released a couple of pretty simple ecommerce websites for Air Swimmers Flying Sharks and Flying Nemo fish. These sites are doing tremendously well already and are we outrageous fun to design and develop, which was helped by the fact that were given a couple of these flying fish to play with! We first developed a website for modelmakers back in 2008, at which point we concentrated on getting the website highly ranked within the search engines for terms like architectural model makers, exhibition models, fibregalss models and various other keywords. The site took a little while to get high positions but not outranks all competition and has been on page 1, in positions 1 to 3, for a couple of years now. Having acheived the ultimate goal Steve the owner now wanted to bring the style of the website up to date so that we could not only drive the traffic to the site but also impress the potential clients with an attractive and informative website. This new website for Modelmakers also includes a blog, which allows the company to show off their model making skills, and gives them the flexibility to add new content anytime they want.
We have just launched a new promotional clothing ecommerce website for My Garment Factory based in Cardiff. The promotional clothing specialist provides a wide range of clothes for businesses, schools, universities, sports clubs etc. and wanted a full ecommerce website to be able to take orders online.

To pair up with the flying shark website we have just launched the flying Nemo ecommerce website. The website is ecommerce but it's pretty basic as far as ecommerce websites go. It uses Paypal in a pretty simple format to sell items, rather than use a traditional shopping cart method and online payment processor, but it does the job nicely, and it looks great we think. The flying nemo website was based on the
flying shark website and the products are from the same supplier. The website is linked to Facebook, Google+, Twitter, You Tube and Paypal.
We were provided with an air swimmer flying Nemo to play with for the week, which was great fun for the gang.

We've just launched a new website for air swimming flying sharks, which is a pretty simple ecommerce website. The website was fun to do and involved shooting a little video, taking still photographs, developing a flash animation and of course designing and building the ecommerce website itself. The website is linked to Facebook, Google+, Twitter, You Tube and Paypal.
We were given an an air swimming shark to play with for the week, which was good fun for the gang, the only trouble is that now everybody wants one for Christmas!

It has been well over 2 years since we updated our own website, so back in March we decided to get on with a new design, however we have struggled since then with our schedule to fit in completing the work, anyway now we are finally at a point where our new design can go live. Importance of internal linking and site architecture for SEO
Meta tags are one of the first considerations in any website’s on-site SEO efforts. They are amongst the easiest on-site elements to change, and in the case of the meta-description, can influence what searchers see in search engine results. There are more meta tags than just those for the ‘keywords’ and ‘description’, and although there has been much debate over the value of such tags, skilfully written meta tags can greatly help with your website SEO efforts.
Which tags should be included in website design?
There are many types of meta tag, but those you should concern yourself with from an SEO point of view are:
Meta Content Type
This tag allows you to control how your site is rendered in a user’s browser. Failure to include this meta tag can result in an illegible page or faulty design. Web designers will normally use such a tag in the design process, but incorrect usage have a detriment effect on SEO as broken pages lead to high bounce rates.
Meta Description
The meta description tag is one of the most important, allowing you to describe your page to the search engines. More importantly however, many search engines use this description in their SERPs. This tag should therefore contain your targeted keywords and entice searchers to click onto your site; this is effectively your sales pitch.
Robots
The robots tag allows you to dictate whether a search engine follows links and indexes pages on your website. Although, this tag isn’t necessary for search engines to follow a link and index a page as they do so by default, even in the absence of a robots tag. You only need to concern yourself with this tag if you do not want a link followed or page indexed. It is also possible to use specific bot tags if you need a specific robot to perform an action.
Language
This tag can be used to dictate the primary language in which your site is written. This is rarely used in domestic settings but can be useful if you expand abroad or relocate to another country.
Source
This is a relatively new meta tag introduced by Google in a bid to identify the source of the news stories it ranks. Similar to social media where the authority of the author is considered as a ranking factor, we can expect source authority to become an important element of the search algorithm in the future.
Keywords
The keywords meta tag has long been discounted as a ranking factor mainly due to its abuse in the early days of website optimisation. This said, best practice dictates the keywords meta tag should still be included as you never know exactly which factors the search engines will deem important in the future.
Refresh
If your site is using this tag you should change it to a 301 redirect; this tag will have a negative effect on your website optimisation.
Used effectively, meta tags can reward your website with a real SEO boost. On the other hand, if you ignore the tags you can expect a negative effect on your website SEO. We recently developed an ecommerce website for a university clothing specialist with agents in dozens of universities in the UK. We have just launched a new website for one of first ever clients, we first starting working with Craig Freeman back in 2004 and we first developed a site for them back then. We have now developed a brand new website for them based on the new branding and we think it looks great.
